The present owners of The Beauregard
House have the distinction of being one of the few residents to claim
a Beauregard Street address. The address now known as "The Beauregard
House" was created in 1905 when the Oppenheimer family erected the
dwelling as a rental investment for their unmarried daughter.
The Beauregard House began its legacy in 1990 when the home was
purchased for use as a lodging establishment. The name was created as
we know today as "The Beauregard House Bed and Breakfast".
In 2000, the property again changed ownership and continued the
historic tradition as a bed and breakfast until sold in 2005.
Today "The Beauregard House Bed and Breakfast" is under new ownership
and the current owners have taken on the task of continuing the legacy
of such a historically, unique home to be shared and enjoyed by
visitors from around the world.
Since its inception into history in 1905, The Beauregard House has
continued to prosper and has become the only house in King William
with the distinction of never having become a single-family residence.
The Beauregard House Bed and Breakfast Inn is proud to have been
featured on the Disney Channel, Lifetime, BBC World Television, The
Oprah Winfrey Show, The Travel Channel, The Discovery Channel, PAX
Television, People Magazine, BBC Australia, Ride Texas, Frommers, and
Conde Nast.
